FarmEats Grass Fed Bone-in Porterhouse Steak, the steakhouse favorite! 

On one side of the middle bone, there is the tender filet, while on the other side of the bone- there is the marbled succulent strip steak- two contrasts working together all in one steak.

The bone conducts heat within the meat so that it cooks more evenly.  The meat near the bone will cook more slowly than the rest of the steak, and the tenderloin will tend to reach the desired temperature before the strip.

Perfect for the BBQ!

Or cook on the stovetop; olive oil a cast iron pan, sear the first side of the steak on medium-high heat, for about 5 minutes, then flip it over and sear for another 4 minutes.

Place steak on a cutting board, let rest under an aluminum foil tent for about 5 minutes.  

Slice steak in 1/2 inch thick slices.

Ready to serve!
